Beskrivelse

1200°C Cupellation Furnace with Gas Intake and Exhaust System

The 1200°C Ashing Furnace with a gas intake and exhaust system is a laboratory resistance furnace specifically designed for cupellation and the high-temperature processing of precious metals and related materials. It utilizes silicon carbide (SiC) rods as heating elements, which are installed vertically on both sides of the furnace chamber (dimensions: 300 × 200 × 200 mm). Equipped with a dedicated gas intake and exhaust system, the unit allows for precise control of gas flow via a float flow meter and manual adjustment valve; this enables the regulation of the furnace atmosphere to meet specific cupellation requirements, as well as the proper venting and management of exhaust gases.

The furnace body features an air-cooled, double-layer carbon steel structure combined with three layers of insulation and an intelligent temperature control system, ensuring stable high-temperature operation. The control system supports various temperature regulation modes—such as PID, APID, and MPT—and offers functions for programmed heating, afkøling, holding, and cycling, alongside multiple safety protection features.

Produktegenskaber

  1. 1200°C High-Temperature Cupellation Capability

The maximum operating temperature and the long-term continuous operating temperature are both 1200°C, with a temperature control range of 100–1200°C, meeting the temperature control requirements for cupellation and high-temperature experiments.

  1. Specialized Gas Intake and Exhaust System

Equipped with a rotameter and a manual adjustment valve, the system allows for precise regulation of gas flow during experiments, enabling control over the furnace atmosphere. An integrated exhaust system ensures the effective discharge and management of gases generated during the process.

  1. Electric Upward-Opening Door Design

The furnace utilizes an electric upward-opening door mechanism driven by a pneumatic cylinder, supporting both automatic and manual operation. It can be equipped with an operating handle or foot switch to facilitate commissioning and manual control during special circumstances.

In the event of an unexpected gas or power outage, the door maintains its current position—preventing accidental closure or dropping—thereby enhancing operational safety.

  1. Multiple Safety Protections and Intelligent Temperature Control

The system employs an integrated control module with dual-loop control and protection architecture. It offers comprehensive safety features, including protection against over-temperature, over-current, over-pressure, fasetab, thermocouple breakage, overskride, and undershoot, as well as current feedback and soft-start capabilities.

The intelligent temperature controller supports various control modes (PID, APID, MPT) and includes self-tuning, selvlærende, and curve-fitting functions. It allows for the configuration of multi-stage temperature programs to automate heating, soaking, and cooling processes.
