The heating elements are U-shaped silicon molybdenum rods, vertically installed on both sides and the rear of the furnace chamber (three-sided heating). Temperature control accuracy is ±1 degree Celsius, and furnace temperature uniformity is ±6 degrees Celsius. Combined with a high-purity alumina fiber lining and multi-layer insulation structure, it is suitable for large-sized workpieces or batch processing.

2. Are the heating elements durable?

The heating elements are U-shaped silicon molybdenum rods; two spare rods are included.

3. How is the heating rate controlled?

The heating rate is controlled in segments: below 1000℃, less than 15℃/min; 1000-1400℃, less than 10℃/min; above 1400℃, less than 5℃/min. A maximum heating/cooling rate of 10-20℃/min is recommended; excessively rapid heating will shorten the lifespan of the heating elements.

4. Can an atmosphere be passed through?

This box furnace does not have a vacuum seal structure and flammable or explosive gases must not be introduced. The introduction of corrosive gases is not recommended. If it is necessary to introduce highly corrosive gases (such as sulfur, sodium, dll.), the manufacturer must be informed in advance for special treatment of the furnace lining.

5. Will the furnace lining crack?

After a period of use, minor cracks may appear in the furnace lining. This is normal and will not affect use. They can be repaired with an alumina coating.
