Description

1700°C Small-Scale Electric Elevator Resistance Furnace

This is a compact 1700°C electric resistance furnace with a lifting mechanism, utilizing molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements. While it has a maximum temperature rating of 1700°C, the recommended operating temperature for long-term use is 1650°C or below. The furnace chamber measures 130 mm in diameter and 150 mm in height. A lead-screw mechanism—featuring adjustable speed and a maximum load capacity of 30 kg—is used to raise and lower the hearth for loading and unloading.

Equipped with an intelligent temperature control system supporting various control modes—such as PID, APID, and MPT—the furnace enables multi-stage programmed heating, holding, and cooling. It is suitable for high-temperature experiments in fields including ceramics, metallurgy, electronics, new materials, and specialty materials.

Product Features

  1. 1700°C High-Temperature Heating

The maximum operating temperature is 1,700°C, with a continuous operating temperature of 1,650°C. Six molybdenum disilicide (MoSi2) heating elements are arranged around the furnace.

  1. Compact Lift-Type Structure

The furnace chamber measures Φ130×150 mm and features a lead-screw-driven lifting platform for sample loading. The lifting mechanism is positioned at the rear of the furnace body to minimize the impact of the high-temperature zone on the operating components. A variable-speed gear motor controls the vertical movement, allowing for adjustable speeds.

  1. Precise, Intelligent Temperature Control

Temperature control accuracy reaches ±1°C, with a chamber temperature uniformity of approximately ±3°C. The heating rate is fully adjustable, ranging from a maximum of ~10°C/min down to 1°C/h, meeting the requirements of various experimental processes.

  1. Comprehensive Safety Protection

The system employs dual-circuit control and protection. Safety features include safeguards against over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, phase loss, thermocouple breakage, overshoot, and undershoot, as well as current feedback and soft-start capabilities, ensuring safe equipment operation.

  1. Efficient Thermal Insulation and Air-Cooled Structure

The furnace lining consists of high-purity alumina hollow-sphere bricks, with a custom alumina hollow-sphere roof and external insulation made of polycrystalline alumina fibers. The furnace body features a double-shell air-cooled design, keeping the exterior casing temperature below ambient temperature +25°C during long-term operation.

Temperature Uniformity in Furnace±3°C
Temperature Measuring Element & RangePlatinum-Rhodium-Platinum B thermocouple, measuring range 0–1880°C
Heating Element Installation PositionSurrounding / 6 silicon-molybdenum rods
Temperature ControllerInstrument temperature control; ammeters and voltmeters added to both input and output; installed at the lower part of the furnace
Operation SwitchesFurnace door lifting + emergency stop installed on the right side of the furnace for convenient operation and protection against high temperatures; cantilever bracket adopted
Heating RateHeating rate freely adjustable; adjustment range: fast heating rate up to 10°C per minute (10°C/min), slow heating rate down to 1°C per hour (1°C/h)
Furnace BodyThe furnace body is machined with CNC machine tools and undergoes polishing, grinding, acid washing, phosphating, plastic powder spraying, high-temperature baking, etc. It features a two-tone color scheme, a novel and aesthetically pleasing appearance, and advantages such as oxidation resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and easy cleaning. Export quality, mirror-like baked finish
Furnace Body StructureThe furnace body adopts an air-cooled double-layer structure. An effective air-cooled guide baffle enables overall cold air circulation in the furnace shell, ultimately cooling the heating element conductive plates before discharging out of the furnace body. This avoids high-temperature oxidation of the heating element conductive plates and ensures a good working environment
Furnace Body Travel ModeInlet and outlet adopt a stepless speed reduction motor with adjustable speed
Furnace Body LiftingThe loading platform adopts screw-rod lifting; the screw-rod lifting position is at the rear side to avoid high temperatures and achieve higher precision
Refractory Fit between Furnace Opening and Loading PlatformThe refractory fit between the furnace opening and the loading platform adopts a stepped cross-sealing design. The refractory has angles on both upper and lower parts. The opening angle of the loading platform increases, and gradually decreases as the loading platform closes
Loading Capacity30kg
Refractory MaterialsThe furnace lining uses high-purity alumina hollow ball bricks; the furnace top uses custom-made alumina hollow balls; the external insulation uses alumina polycrystalline fiber material; the furnace door uses a custom crucible groove
Furnace Body Shell TemperatureFor long-term continuous operation without shutdown, the shell temperature is less than room temperature +25°C
