Vacuum Atmosphere Hot Press Furnace for Advanced Material Research

1200°C Vacuum Hot Press Furnace for Advanced Material Sintering
Four de presse à chaud
A hot press furnace is a high-temperature device that densifies materials by simultaneously applying high temperature and pressure. It is widely used in the fields of powder metallurgy, functional ceramics and the preparation of high-performance materials.
This equipment employs a high-pressure, low-strain-rate powder metallurgy process, which causes powder or compact to sinter and creep under high-temperature conditions, thereby obtaining high-density materials. The hot pressing process can be carried out under vacuum or a specific atmosphere, effectively improving material properties and reducing the effects of oxidation.
This equipment is suitable for universities, research institutes, and industrial and mining enterprises, and has significant application value in the fields of new material research and development and high-end manufacturing.
Caractéristiques du produit (Four de presse à chaud)
- Simultaneous High-Temperature and High-Pressure Pressing for Densified Sintering
This hot press furnace employs a high-pressure, low-strain-rate powder metallurgy process. Heat and pressure are simultaneously applied to powder or powder compacts at sufficiently high temperatures to initiate sintering and creep processes. Compared to traditional atmospheric pressure sintering, hot press sintering can achieve near-theoretical density materials at lower temperatures and in a shorter time, resulting in finer grains and superior mechanical properties.
- Vacuum Atmosphere Protection for Various Materials
Hot press sintering under high vacuum conditions effectively prevents material oxidation. Inert gases (nitrogen, argon, etc.) or reducing gases (hydrogen, etc.) can be introduced to conduct hot press sintering under a special atmosphere, meeting the stringent atmospheric requirements of materials such as cemented carbides, functional ceramics, and powder metallurgy.
- High-Quality Heating Elements, Stable High-Temperature Performance
High-temperature alloy resistance wire (containing molybdenum, with a surface temperature reaching 1420℃) or silicon carbide rods are used as heating elements, with the configuration selected according to the operating temperature. The heating elements are installed around the furnace chamber, forming a uniform heating field to ensure even temperature distribution during hot pressing. The heating elements undergo aging treatment before assembly to ensure long-term stability and reliability.
Microcomputer program control with programmable curves enables fully automatic heating/cooling. It features 30 or 50-segment program control, allowing for arbitrary slope heating and cooling control. Programmable commands such as jump (boucle), courir, pause, and stop are available, and temperature control parameters and the program can be modified during operation, offering flexibility and convenience.
- Real-time Pressure Monitoring, Traceable Data
The control panel is equipped with a digital pressure gauge that displays the applied pressure value in real time. An optional pressure printer records pressure change curves, facilitating process analysis and quality traceability. The pressure control system can precisely adjust the pressurization rate and holding time to meet the densification requirements of different materials.
- Vacuum and Flow Monitoring, Controllable Atmosphere
Equipped with a vacuum display and flow meter, it monitors the vacuum level and gas flow rate inside the furnace in real time. The inlet valve can precisely control the on/off state and flow rate of the protective gas to meet the different needs of vacuum sintering and atmosphere sintering.

| Remarques | 1. To ensure a long service life of the furnace, it is recommended that the maximum heating and cooling rate be 10–20℃/min. Rapid heating at high temperatures will shorten the service life of the heating elements. |
| 2. Tiny cracks may appear on the furnace chamber after prolonged use. This is normal and will not affect operation, and the chamber can be repaired with an alumina coating if needed. | |
| 3. Corrosive gases are not recommended. If highly corrosive gases such as S, Na, etc., must be used, please inform us in advance so that we can apply special treatment to the furnace chamber. | |
| 4. Do not allow high-temperature molten liquid to spill onto the furnace bottom. This can be avoided by using a backing plate or isolating with alumina powder. | |
| 5. The equipment should be placed in a well-ventilated and dry area. |
